The Phoenix Suns defeated the Dallas Mavericks 110-80 in Game 5 of their Western Conference Semifinals series on Tuesday

The Phoenix Suns answered with a 110-80 win over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 on Tuesday night, after not looking like themselves in the previous two games of this series in Dallas.

The Suns now hold a 3-2 series lead against the Mavericks and are only one win away from advancing to the Western Conference Finals for the second year in a row.

Exposing the Mavericks' offense and attacking their backup talents next to Luka Doncic workecoach Monty Williams and his staff stuck with it in Game 5.

Aside from their strong defensive effort, the Dallas Mavericks' success at home was due to how well they "spread the wealth" on offense.

The Mavericks had nine assists the whole game and one assist in garbage time at the conclusion of the game means they only had eight legitimate assists is maybe the most striking aspect of the game.

This is the Mavs' major issue with their offense right now, and as we've seen in this series when they move the ball, wonderful things happen.

Devin Booker is one of the best all-around scoring weapons in the league right now, and with others getting involved and knocking down shots.

The Suns were one of the league's greatest offensive and defensive teams this season, so a run like this shouldn't come as a surprise, especially against a subpar offensive club like the Mavericks.
